Description

This star makes me think of starburst and fireworks. As I started playing with the pattern lines, I came up with an alternate star quilt pattern with splashes of colours on the tips of each petal. Playing with the colours gave me quite a few different stars.

This pattern could create a number or star patterns AND quilt layouts depending on the colours you choose.

Shattered Star quilt pattern makes a 14 inch x 14 inch star quilt block.

Alternate instructions are included for easier piecing.

It is perfect for stand-alone projects such as a wall hanging, table runner, pillow or a bag. It can be just as easily incorporated into a larger quilt.

The pattern for this paper pieced quilt block is made and tested by me. It is in colour and clearly numbered. A diagram is also provided in the pattern.  There is a colour sheets attached to the pattern for you to test your colour palette on.

Basic instructions for foundation paper piecing are not included in the pattern.
