I love to read. They have played a big part in making the person I am today. I made the FREADOM bookshelf quilt pattern to honour the books that continue to free my mind.

It would make a fantastic gift for for a book enthusiast. It would also look great made using university or school colours.  It is also a very scrap-happy quilt.

FREADOM bookshelf quilt pattern makes a 10 inch x 16 inch bookshelf quilt block.

Alternate instructions are included for easier piecing.

It is perfect for stand-alone projects such as a wall hanging, table runner, pillow or a bag. It can be just as easily incorporated into a larger quilt.

The pattern for this paper pieced quilt block is made and tested by me. It is in colour and clearly numbered. A diagram is also provided in the pattern.

Basic instructions for foundation paper piecing are not included in the pattern.
