This pattern was inspired by It was inspired by my trip to Norway and the traditional Fair isle Knitting patterns. I named this pattern after the Fair Isle kitting design style.
Making the Fair Isle block with the paper piecing method will take out the calculation and guesswork.
This pattern could create a number or star patterns AND quilt layouts depending on the colours you choose.
Fair Isle Star quilt pattern makes a 10 inch x 10 inch star quilt block.
It is perfect for stand-alone projects such as a wall hanging, table runner, pillow or a bag. It can be just as easily incorporated into a larger quilt.
The pattern for this paper pieced quilt block is made and tested by me. It is in colour and clearly numbered. A diagram is also provided in the pattern. There is a colour sheets attached to the pattern for you to test your colour palette on.
Basic instructions for foundation paper piecing are not included in the pattern.
