Welcome to the very first revival of Wandering Camera – a monthly photography linky party. 

There are trails that meander through the forest in the mountains about 27 miles from our home.  By late spring the area becomes hot and arid, but during the winter months it turns into a lush green woodland.  The rainwater then brings beautiful early spring wild flowers.   I love to walk amongst these trees, specially on cloudy days or closer to twilight.

I find the forest eerie, but at the same time the trees make it a safe place to hide and explore.

Welcome to the Wandering Camera linky party.  When I started this project in January of 2016, I had no idea where this photographic journey would take me.  I became more aware of my surroundings, and I found unexpected possibilities.  My wonderful friends inspired me to make new things which became the subject of my photography many a time.

I apologise for being late with the post this month.  I found myself seeking comfort in December and I let that urge continue a little longer.  I spent a lot of time at the dining table working on scores of things while watching the rain outside.  Comfort food, films, video games and other activities played a big part in our daily lives.

Welcome to the month of December Wandering Camera linky party.  We are reaching the end, the next one will be the last one.  Thank you so much for visiting, for your lovely comments and for sharing your photos.

Unfortunately, November was not an easy month for me for various reasons.   Add that to working around the clock for a couple of weeks, I was more than ready for the Thanksgiving holidays by the time they came around.  Until then, I did what I always do – I went for walks.  We went to a trail that we haven’t visited since last spring.  So much had changed!

Welcome to November’s Wandering Camera linky party.  Thank you again for visiting, for your lovely comments and for sharing your photos.  I love seeing your photos and reading about them.

Just like the changing Autumn wind, October came to us with a myriad changes of weather.  There were hot days with extremely low humidity.  Then we had gusty storms which brought on colder winds and consecutive rainy days.  Beautiful skies, leaves and flowers, warm colours and walks filled my days.  The month ended with a weekend visit to beautiful Yosemite.
