Purchase Red Telephone Box Pattern

I had the idea of a Red Telephone Box quilt pattern for a long while.   As you know, I love old architecture, and I fell in love with the vine- and plant-decked Oxford windows.   So I added a Victorian street lamp along with a lit-up window – an Oxford window, if you will.  Once I had designed and made the block, it became obvious to me that I wanted to make a travel bag with it.

Purchase Sunburst Star Pattern

Thank you so much everyone, for the get well wishes, all those good vibes definitely helped!  I finally started feeling a lot better earlier this week, after almost a week and a half of being sick.  Now only a little sniffle and a bit of stuffy head remains.  Last week I planned out my one-block WIPs, and I am very happy to share the first finished project with you today.  I started to work on it slowly as the cold left me.

As someone who loves to continuously create new things, I almost never get to remake a block that I have designed.  Even though I would love to make a few of them using different colours, I mostly move on to drawing new designs and making the new blocks instead.  That holds especially true for the star quilt patterns.  However, I recently got a chance to remake one.

When I made the coffee-themed cross-body bag earlier this year, Dixie really liked it.
